In one sentence: Claude Usage runs entirely on your computer. There is no user account, no central database, and your usage data never leaves your machine — except, if you choose to enable it, to your own Google Calendar.
1. Who publishes the app
Claude Usage is published by an individual developer, Tojii, reachable at tojii.samaa@gmail.com. Use this address for any question or request regarding your data.
2. What the app stores, and where
Everything below is written inside your Windows user profile. Nothing is sent to the publisher.

These files belong to the Windows session that created them. Another user of the same computer cannot see yours, and the installer archive contains no data: it is identical for everyone.
3. Network activity, one by one
a. Anthropic
The app queries Anthropic's API with your token to read your usage. This is a direct exchange between your computer and Anthropic; the publisher has no access to it. Your Claude account remains governed by Anthropic's own terms.
b. Update server
The app queries https://releases.tojiisamaa.com on start-up and roughly once an
hour to check whether a newer version exists, downloading it when one does. The request carries
no personal data: no identifier, no usage figures, no token. Like any web server,
it records standard HTTP access information (IP address, date, requested file, user agent) in
access logs kept for at most 30 days, for operational and security purposes.
Every release is cryptographically signed (Ed25519) and the downloaded file's hash is verified before installation; an update that does not come from the publisher is rejected by the app.
c. Google Calendar — only if you enable it
See the dedicated section below.
d. Nothing else
No analytics, no trackers, no third-party analysis service, no automatic crash reporting. No data is sold, rented or shared with third parties.
4. What the app requests from Google, and what it does with it
The Google Calendar link is optional and disabled by default. You trigger it yourself from the settings; without that action the app never contacts Google.

create a calendar and manage events on it.
Actual, strictly limited use
- Creating a separate calendar named Claude Usage, dedicated to the app.
- Creating, updating and deleting events on that calendar only: one event per quota reset deadline (session or weekly).
- Listing your calendars, solely to locate the one it created.
The app does not read the contents of your other calendars, does not modify them, does not delete them, and never exports any event. The events it writes contain only a date, a time and a title such as “Claude session reset”. No calendar data is copied anywhere: it stays in your Google account.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Claude Usage's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, data obtained through Google APIs is not transferred to third parties, not used for advertising, not used to build profiles, and not read by humans.
5. Retention
- On your machine: for as long as you keep the app. Nothing expires on its own; deletion is yours to decide.
- Update server logs: 30 days maximum.
- At Google: created events remain in your calendar until you delete them, like any event you own.
6. How to remove everything
- Disconnect Google: in the widget settings, Google Calendar section. The local token is erased immediately.
- Revoke access at Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions, then remove “Claude Usage”. Access ends instantly.
- Delete the created calendar from Google Calendar; its events go with it.
- Erase local data: delete
%APPDATA%\ClaudeUsageWidgetV2and%LOCALAPPDATA%\ClaudeUsageWidgetV2. - Uninstall: delete
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Claude Usageand the Start menu and Startup shortcuts.
7. Security
Settings and history files are protected by your Windows session permissions. Network traffic uses HTTPS. Updates are signed and verified before installation. The app installs and updates without administrator rights, writing only inside your user profile.
The app never asks for your Google password: authorization goes through Google's official screen, and only a revocable token is stored.
8. Your rights
Because the data stays on your machine, you have direct and permanent access to it. For any GDPR request — access, rectification, erasure, objection — write to tojii.samaa@gmail.com; you will receive an answer within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
9. Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page, with a new effective date at the top of the document.
